A meeting dedicated to results dissemination

A meeting joined the project leaders in Montpellier (France) from 30 June till 2 July 2014. Its aim was to take stock of the progress achieved and to think about the strategy of results dissemination through as many players as possible.

Akpan and gowé: pilot test in Benin for reengineered products

The Faculty of Agronomic Sciences of the University of Abomey-Calavi (FSA-UAC) has organized the pilot tests for reengineered processes for akpan and gowé on Wednesday 14th of May 2014. The event took place on Abomey-Calavi campus of the university in Benin, with the collaboration of CIRAD and AAFEX.

Consumer testing of bissap drinks

AFTER in the “Fête de la Science”, Dakar

The AFTER project and its results have been presented during a science festival called “Fête de la Science” in Dakar. It has been organized by the French Institute from the 19th to the 21st of November 2013, in collaboration with actors in research and education from Senegal.

Bissap: sensory testing of improved products has started

After the pilot tests organized on September the 23d, bissap (Hibiscus sabdariffa) reengineered products have been tested in Dakar by local consumers between October the 25th and November the 7th.

The third annual meeting was organized on the 10th, 11th and 12th of October 2013 in Pretoria, South Africa. It was held in CSIR and counted 26 participants.
