Activities
Project AFTER is structured into 7 workpackages (WP1-WP7) concerning scientific and technical activities and a workpackage 0 related to coordination.
WP1 covers all products and aims at investigating product and process variability in the six African countries from which arise products targeted by the project. Results are used in WP2, WP3 and WP4, three parallel work-packages that aim to generate scientific knowledge on products and improving the processes for each product category. These three work-packages also use the results of WP5, which provide information on the consumer and market acceptance before and after improvement of the traditional products. The results are tested by companies (SMEs) in WP6. WP7 disseminate and prepare the exploitation of the project results.
