On 23 and 24 September 2013, AAFEX (Association Afrique AgroExport) in collaboration with ESP/UCAD (Ecole Supérieure Polytechnique from Cheikh Anta Diop University) organized in Dakar (Senegal) 2 days of demonstration workshops for Bissap (Hibiscus sabdariffa) and Bouye (Adansonia digitata) reengineered products. The main results of AFTER project have been demonstrated to 5 target SMEs in the CSFPIAA (Technical Center, Dakar) with a focus on one pilot product per day: bissap (concentrate, drink and syrup) and bouye (drink and syrup).

Those workshops have been completed by on-site pilot tests: one selected product per company has been produced following the AFTER reengineered process.

The demonstration phase (WP6) just precedes the results dissemination (WP7), which will start before the end of 2013 including a presentation to a large public organized in Dakar.
